Paul,
I just wanted to thank you for all the amazing support you have given me over the last year. It has been a gruelling process but none of it would have been possible without your support, encouragement and engagement.
Let me be clear from the start, the deal we got in Copenhagen does contain some real wins (for example on aid for poor countries or a two degree limit), but it does not go anything like far enough.

I believe we should be stepping up the pressure rather than giving up our ambitions. We should start work now on converting the accord into a legally binding agreement as soon as possible but public pressure will be critical.
Just as we have worked together on The Road to Copenhagen, so we need to work together on the road from Copenhagen. That's about demanding more internationally and doing more at home.

The most inspirational lesson for me from Copenhagen has been the determination and resolve of ordinary members of the public from different background and different countries.
Over coming months, you can help turn these and other pledges into legally binding agreements and push to go further.

Let's work together to make it happen.
Thanks
